Last night was one of the most dazzling nights in Fifth Avenue history! In celebration of the 80th anniversary of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Saks Fifth Avenue transformed all 14 of its Fifth Avenue-facing windows into scenes from the classic fairy tale film. In true Disney form, the unveiling of the windows was quite the spectacle. It started with all seven dwarfs marching out of the store and onto the blocked-off street. After that, Sofia Carson made a grand entrance in a beautiful sequin column gown and sang “A Smile and a Song.”Next came Snow White—dressed in her beautiful winter outfit—alongside the Prince. And as if that weren’t enough of a production, the entire front face of Saks was lit up in lights and fireworks shot off from the rooftop—this brought real tears to our eyes. It was truly a magical event!
The window animation and light show will continue throughout the holiday season until January 2, so if you’re near the area, make sure to see it for yourself!
