Disney and Neff Headwear Take Over the X Games

The summer X Games were in extreme and full effect this weekend in Austin, and Disney Style was there to help celebrate the new Disney collection by Neff!

Among the Skateboarding Big Air and Moto X Freestyle competitions were incredible art installations, interactive booths, and tons of free giveaways. But Mickey Mouse made one of the biggest impacts at the festival, and the fans absolutely loved it (who wouldn’t?)! Neff created a Mickey Art House filled with products from the new Disney collection by Neff, and also had a DJ spinning crowd-pleasing beats. The Mickey Art House was held up by Mickey graphic-painted walls that served as the perfect photo-op for guests.

Just outside of the Mickey Art House was a lengthy line for our character artist Jeff Shelly, who has been drawing Mickey and friends for over 25 years!

Neff was so generous and gave away prizes to fans all day with a spin-to-win wheel. While some walked away with high fives, others got Mickey Neff beanies, watches, and shirts from the new collection.

One of our favorite parts of the activation was the awesome vintage airstream—which doubled as a place for people to cool down from the Texas heat and as a photo booth—equipped with Mickey skateboards and helmets as photo props.

We can’t wait to get our hands on the collection, which is exclusive to Tillys, and is in stores and online now. Some pieces however, will be arriving in about 2 weeks, so stay tuned. Here are some of our favorites:

This is a pretty solid collection, and we know those sweet socks and backpacks will go fast! When you get yours, be sure to tag #DisneyxNeff so we can see your Disney style!
