It’s National Polka Dot Day! To celebrate, we decided to make some polka dot Minnie ears that you can wear the next time you’re at the Parks or whenever you want to add a bit of #MinnieStyle to your look. Here’s how we did it:
For supplies you’ll need a glue gun, tulle ribbon, pom poms (we used .75″), scissors and a pair of ears. If you want to make a pair of ears from scratch, check out our floral Minnie ears DIY.
Using your glue gun, attach each pom pom to the ear. We did it in a circular pattern, alternating the colors each time. Keep adding on pom poms until the full ear is covered. Repeat for the other side.
For your bow, unwrap the tulle ribbon and layer it back and forth to create thickness. Cut the ribbon and tie it into a bow. Attach the bow to the center of the ears with your glue gun.
And there you have it! Polka dot Minnie ears that you can make in 10 minutes.
