One of our staff members recently graduated from college! Naturally, she gave her graduation regalia a Disney twist to celebrate her accomplishment. Here’s what she had to say:
I’ve always known that I was going to do something Disney-inspired for my graduation cap. It took a lot of searching on the Internet, but I found a cap that was Wall-E themed and I knew that it was the one for me. Wall-E is probably my favorite Disney Pixar film, so putting Wall-E and EVE on my grad cap seemed like the perfect fit.
To make the cap, I printed out Wall-E and EVE face mask templates I found online and traced them onto tracing paper. With different pieces of scrapbooking paper, I used the tracing template I made and traced the outlines onto the paper. Then, I cut out the different pieces and glued them together. After they were all assembled, I glued them onto the graduation cap. Scrapbooking sticker letters, a Mickey Mouse sticker, and a blue bow completed the cap. It was definitely a hit at my graduation ceremony, and I loved adding just a bit of Disney magic to my last college endeavor.
