Is anyone else picking up the Plumette vibes from Anna Wintour’s dress at the Met Gala right now? The Vogue editor is co-hosting this year’s star-studded event and is wearing one of the most stunning dresses, as per usual. The Chanel gown is custom-made by Karl Lagerfeld and, according to Vogue, inspired by the label’s spring 2017 Haute Couture collection.
Well, we’re seeing other inspiration from this gown. The sleek column silhouette and feathered detailing at the bottom are very reminiscent of our favorite feather duster from one of Disney’s most exciting releases this year—Beauty and the Beast. This certainly wouldn’t be the first time Lagerfeld was inspired by Disney, as the designer’s Fendi collection this year was a nod to Wreck-It Ralph‘s Vanellope von Schweetz. If there’s anyone who can pull off the feather duster look quite like Plumette, it’s definitely Anna!
Beauty and the Beast is now playing!
