5 Tips For Adding Disney to Your Work Outfits

Sporting Disney style is a must when visiting the Parks. But how about at work?  Most days, I’m sitting at a desk all day instead of savoring a warm toasty churro in the sunshine. To add a little bit of magic to those work days, I wear a Disney Style outfit to the office!  Wearing a work-appropriate outfit with Disney pieces can be tricky, so here are five tips to help you show off your love for Disney at the office.

1. Add in Disney-inspired jewelry.

Dress: DKNY, Coat: LUCLUC, Shoes: Schutz, Purse: Dasein, Watch: JCPenney for Disney, Ring: Fred Meyer Enchanted Disney Diamond, Bracelet: Disney Couture

Jewelry is the easiest way to add Disney flair to any of your work outfits. This tip is especially helpful for those who work in a formal business attire workplace. Watches, bracelets, earrings, or necklaces are the perfect items to subtly show your love for Disney.

2. Pair a more casual Disney item with tailored pieces.

Sweater: Uniqlo, Shirt: Modalist, Trouser: Toast, Shoes: Romwe, Watch: Larsson & Jennings Lugano, Bracelet: Tate

For a business casual outfit, pair your more casual Disney pieces with tailored items. A Mickey sweater partnered with crisp trousers or a sharp blazer over a Disney shirt are great ways to show your Disney pride while still looking polished.

3. Wear pieces from Disney fashion collaborations.

Blouse: Uniqlo “Beauty and the Beast” Collection, Trouser: Madewell, Flats: Mollini Gyro, Purse: Givenchy, Earrings: J.W. Anderson

Recently, more brands have been releasing Disney collections and usually, they include items that are so subtle, they can fit right into your everyday wardrobe. Try to wear pieces that have all-over prints like this UNIQLO x Disney Beauty and the Beast shirt. Even if the print includes a character, it will read more as an abstract pattern.

4. Complete your work outfit with a Disney bag.

Bracelet: Tory Burch, Bag: Kate Spade, Skirt: Missoni, Blouse: Delpozo, Shoes: Calvin Klein

A Disney bag is great for work because it’s fun, yet functional – just like this Miss Piggy tote!  This is an especially smart way to show off your Disney Style because you can simply stow your bag away if you ever need to be sans-Disney during the work day.

5. DisneyBound to work!

Dress: Finders Keepers, Blazer: River Island, Shoes: Nicholas Kirkwood, Tote: Marc by Marc Jacobs, Watch: Gucci, Bangle: Kenneth Jay Lane, Earrings: Kate Spade

Putting together a DisneyBound is so easy because you can use the clothes you already own! I also love to DisneyBound at work when I want to channel a certain mood for the day.  This Cruella De Vil outfit is great for a day of important meetings because even though Cruella is a villain, there’s no doubt that she’s a confident woman that knows what she wants.

I hope these tips can help you add more Disney Style into your everyday life. Share your Disney Style work outfits by tagging @disneystyle on Instagram!
