This week on Sydney’s Manly Beach Disney and Dolly magazine joined pro-surfer Isabella Nichols, for an adventurous beach event inspired by Moana (which sails into Aussie cinemas on Boxing Day).
While it may be winter in other places of the world, it’s summer right now in Australia! Guests embraced the ocean vibe of the event and were treated to surf lessons, manis, and hair braids. They also crafted their own flower crowns and sipped on coconuts.
We were at the event searching for the best street style and spotted off-shoulder chambrays, breezy skirts, and of course, lots of ocean-blue styles. Guests really nailed the stand-out summer trends and their hand-made flower crowns added a touch of Moana inspiration.
Here are a few looks that really caught our eye:
You can’t beat the off-the-shoulder look and Isabella Nichols rocked it with double denim.
We stopped this guest who opted for an ocean blue mani—the perfect blue for Moana fans.
This Moana fan looked ready to set sail. We love her flower crown inspired by the one Moana wears in the film!
Light fabrics are key to being comfortable at the beach, and this guest kept the colours light too.
The best way to cool down on the beach is with a Moana-stamped coconut, of course!
