Last week, a group of seven Disney Style fans—many who had never met before—went on a trip to Walt Disney World and, not surprisingly, had the Best. Day. Ever! Sara, from @dressedindisney, who brought the trip to our attention explains how the meet-up came about:
The Disney community is strong and the love is real. We really believe in the magic of Disney. We all met through the Disney social community last year and knew it was likely that we would be good friends IRL. So, we had to plan a meet-up. We finally found a date that worked for everyone, and thought what better place to meet than at our favorite Walt Disney World? Britt and Leo came in from New York, Leslie from Canada, Ashley and I from Chicago … it’s so great knowing I have friends around the world to Disney with. We’re already planning our next group trip together!
They’ve shared their incredible experience and Park style with us to inspire your next trip to the Magic Kingdom.
Lauren is always smiling, especially when she’s at the Parks. She chose a head-to-toe Disney style that includes some of our favorite Mickey and Minnie accessories.
I love bringing the magic of Disney to my everyday life, and the most practical way to do that is through the clothes I wear! There is no separation from my street style and my Disney style.
A trip to Walt Disney World isn’t complete without a visit to Animal Kingdom. Sara took to her wild side for a look fitting for the Park. We love the Disney Couture Lion King jewelry she added to go with the theme of this outfit.
For the Magic Kingdom, she kept to a Finding Dory theme with pieces from the Disney•Pixar x Forever 21 collection on one day…
… and a Daisy Duck theme for another.
We met Britt of @takeme2disney and Leo (the man behind the camera) of @themainstreetpress in New York and instantly bonded over our love of all things Disney. For one day, she wore a Minnie all-over printed tee while the next day, she swapped it out for a Jasmine silhouette top.
I really love incorporating Disney Princesses into my style. To me, they symbolize inner beauty, confidence, intelligence and adventure.
Britt’s Dooney & Bourke backpack is the perfect combination of everything we love about Disney. Plus, she knows that a good hat makes for the perfect addition to any outfit.

At the Park she wore a graphic printed Mickey tee, but she also packed a rhinestone Mickey head T-shirt because a girl always needs options! Plus, one of our favorite ways to add a little Disney style to an outfit is with enamel pins. Lex clearly feels the same way. We love how her flare instantly upgrades this already adorable look.
Having the right accessories for a trip to the Disney Parks is absolutely crucial. You want to think about practicality first, but style comes in a close second.
Ashley knows a thing or two about mixing prints. She paired a Mickey Mouse top with shorts from the Lauren Conrad Minnie collection at Kohl’s.
Leslie Kay, @thedisneybound
Leslie always rocks an effortlessly cool DisneyBound. On this trip, she wore a Cinderella-inspired look that’s just as comfortable as it is chic.
Showing my Disney style is the best way to combine my love for fashion and Disney. It’s my favorite way to express the things that mean so much to me.
Allison Schaper, @allisonschaper
Allison is always up for a Disney DIY. For her last trip to Disneyland, she embroidered her own Mickey Mouse dress and made felt patches for her denim jacket. Needless to say, we fell in love. For this trip, she embroidered a Mickey head onto a basic white tee to add a just a hint more Disney style to her outfit.
“I love to challenge myself to add at least one DIY aspect to every outfit, to really make it my own.”
The amount of Disney girl power from these fashionistas is so many #goals. We’re so inspired by their trip and can’t wait for our next visit to the Magic Kingdom!
