New York Fashion Week is on its last day today, but the adventures of so many attendees continue on. For Rowan Blanchard (who we love so dearly), NYFW is a quick getaway from busy studio life to a world of color, texture, and high-fashion. Rowan has grown to make fashion a passion of hers, so we loved seeing her adventures through New York Fashion Week:
She spent time with friend and artist, Petra Collins, wearing the cutest green leather mini skirt and black tee.
No big deal, they just hung out with Stuart Vevers, Creative Director for Coach.
Of course, he had to invite her to the Coach show. In Rowan’s words: “This whole collection came out of my witchy-punk-tea party dreams” (with lots of mystical themed emojis.)
And while we’re thinking she took this photo while leaning on her side, we still appreciate how awesome these Kenzo gold glitter shoes are:
But perhaps her biggest accomplishment at NYFW was at the Opening Ceremony show, where she and other celebrities made fashion political. During the show, called the “Pageant of the People,” each celebrity spoke about topics they feel passionately about, which for Rowan, is feminism. She discussed the importance of voting, equality and several other political issues, all while wearing a the look from the Resort 2017 collection.
Needless to say, we’re envious, proud, and rooting for Rowan!
