Has anyone else found the basic bomber jacket style that’s so big right now to be incredibly familiar? It took me a while to figure out where I had seen the look before—jeans, white tee, army green bomber jacket, and baseball cap. The casual style has been around forever, but right now the look is getting a major fashion highlight. Suddenly, it hit me—T.J. Detweiler from Recess!
The unisex look has been sighted on celebrities, models, and fashion mavens around the world as a go-to casual day-to-night outfit. The look consists of 3 key parts and an optional (but highly recommended) accessory:
The Army Green Bomber Jacket
The bomber jacket style comes in a variety of fabrics and colors, but the simplest style to wear it is in an army green color, just like T.J.’s.
The Plain White Tee
The best thing about a plain white T-shirt is that it will never go out of style. It’s the easiest wardrobe staple to grab when getting ready in the morning seems nearly impossible. Clearly, T.J. gets it.
Basic Blue Jeans
Personally, I love a good pair of boyfriend jeans. They’re the most comfortable option of denim and look great with this style.
The Red Baseball Cap
Old-school baseball caps have made quite the comeback in the past few years. Find a good one to pair with this bomber style for an urban street style look that’s just too easy to be chic.
So all together, it looks something like this:
It’s an instantly put-together look that doesn’t require that much effort, and I’m all for that.
