With all the excitement around Destination: Disney Style in Tokyo, and after meeting DisneyBounders across the globe, we’ve gained a ton of fashion inspiration for everyday outfits. Since Tokyo remains one of the biggest fashion meccas and home to so many Disney fashion fans, there’s no better place to search for ideas for Disney character-inspired looks. Tokyo Disney fans dress with no fear and much confidence, so things like prints on prints and mismatched colors are risks they’re always willing to take to complete a bold look. We obviously love and applaud that style and can’t wait to DisneyBound in the same inspiring way. Here are a few characters to get started:
While we all know that creating a Minnie Mouse-inspired look is as simple as owning a few polka dots, the way to stand out and make your look even more unique is with polka dot overload. Who ever said you can have too many polka dots, anyway? You can follow the same basic DisneyBound rules but push the limits even further. The key to DisneyBounding is there’s no wrong way to do it!

In this Daisy-inspired look, we chose pastel shades of each color in the trend of Tokyo street fashion. And since variations of lip colors are popular there, we made this look even more fun with a bright yellow lipstick.

While we wouldn’t suggest walking around the Parks in these heels, you could definitely rock this Alice-inspired outfit for a casual night out.

Accessorizing your bag with a gold shell charm is the perfect alternative to the more traditional shell necklace. We also love this dress because of its layered ruffles, which mimic her tentacles.

Dressing young isn’t shied away from in Tokyo. Teenage girls are seen wearing character backpacks and carrying stuffed animals all the time. We’re all for embracing your youth with butterfly hair clips and this Sulley backpack, particularly when it comes to a Boo DisneyBound.
