Whether it’s his signature ears or a pattern of his likeness, Mickey Mouse tends to find his way onto the runways at Fashion Week. This year, Mickey’s silhouette was interpreted into a bold, pop-art style in Iceberg’s men’s collection.
Iceberg, a Milan-based fashion house known for its knit and sportswear, is no stranger to the mouse we all know and love. Mickey Mouse and other Disney characters have been a favorite of the brand for years.
For this collection, Iceberg took the athleisure trend to the next level, using color blocking and bright primary hues. James Lang, the men’s creative director for Iceberg, sketched Mickey’s likeness himself, and added it to pants, jackets, sweaters and accessories.
The most avant garde element though were the wire Mickey-shaped masks some of the models wore. It’s those sort of experimental elements that can only be done on the runway, and we love the result.
