Graphic artist Emma J Shipley has collaborated with Disney to create a gorgeous line of Star Wars scarves and pocket squares.
Creating an effect similar to the theatrical posters for Star Wars, each scarf depicts Darth Vadar, action sequences featuring the Millennium Falcon, AT-ATs, marching Storm Troopers, TIE fighters, and X-wings.
Shipley’s style of sketch design, all hand drawn for these pieces, has a retro vibe that feels like the film posters from the ’70s and ’80s. We especially love the colors she used in the background images of the stars and planets.
Check out her original sketch that is the basis for the printed scarves.
The scarves come in a blue-hued version, a black-toned version, and that is much lighter with a white background. There are square scarves, longer wool scarves, and smaller pocket squares, in case you’re feeling fancy.
The scarves are currently available at Selfridges and Fenwick London, Le Bon Marché, Ikram. Outside of the United Kingdom, you can purchase at EmmaJShipley.com
