The Disneyland Photo Shoot of Our Dreams

We recently teamed up with fashion bloggers The Girls With Glasses to create the ultimate, beautiful, fantastical Disneyland photo shoot we’ve always wanted to for Disney Style. It was the perfect mix of contemporary trends and retro chic, super fun and happy vibes, mixed with whimsical silhouettes–you know, exactly how a once-in-a-lifetime Disneyland shoot should be styled. The girls rocked everything from pink fluffy jackets, rose-print suits, giant ball gowns, and red bow ties, to achieve looks worthy of being photographed at the Happiest Place on Earth.

Check out the shoot below, and get the behind-the-scenes story from The Girls With Glasses at Babble!

Summer and Brooke sport the perfect palettes for a sunrise shoot in Fantasyland. Statement necklaces add some extra sparkle. We want that rose print suit in every color, please and thank you!

One of the best things about Disneyland is that every detail is gorgeous–even the turnstiles outside of it’s a small world. This turned out to be the perfect spot for an impromptu shot.

If there’s one place in all of Disneyland where you can sport yellow trousers and an embellished hot pink cardigan, it’s the Mad Tea Party.

These are exactly the faces you make when you’re doing a style shoot while riding a teacup.

Fun fact: Brooke is wearing a vintage Mickey safari tee, which nicely balances out her wacky coat and big bright heels.

In Toontown, there was one natural place to turn for inspiration: Mickey Mouse himself.

We loved how Brooke paired a deep red, feminine dress with edgy black, studded gloves.

Summer’s colorblock frock paired with a daisy-appliqued cardigan is kind of retro, but still totally fun.

Toontown was never so stylish.

Can’t have a Disneyland shoot without somehow managing to work in some extra large Mickey gloves. Also, Brooke’s striped dress is black and white perfection.

Our favorite look of the day, and a perfect example of how you can make pattern mismatching work. Pair a dramatic, textured dress with a prim and proper cropped sweater, and bam! Nice photo bomb by Dumbo.

Game changer alert: Adding Mickey ears to your wide-brimmed wool hat for instant shade AND style. We’re officially going to make this a thing.
