There’s so much that we love about The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. There’s no better feeling for a thrill seeker to see that haunting hotel and hear the screams of fellow Park goers as they drop 13 stories. While crossing over to the 5th dimension is always a must for any Disney Park visit, we also love the backstory of this attraction. The creepy hotel lobby frozen in time, the tale of five unlucky folks who happened to be in the elevator when the Hollywood Tower Hotel was struck by lightning, the glitz and glamour of Hollywood’s golden age… this is the stuff that makes for one terrifyingly great time.
For this Ride Inspiration outfit, we looked to the bellhop uniforms the cast members wear. Instead of the usual shirt or jacket and pants combo, we decided to go a more feminine route with a structured top and pleated skirt. We also included some nods to the late 1930’s, with an vintage-inspired statement necklace and delicate cut out flats. A watch is the perfect accessory to pay tribute to The Twilight Zone’s opening theme and a purple wallet plays off the lightning strike exterior of the Hollywood Tower Hotel.
