The Grecian gown is a prom staple. It’s elegant, simple, flattering on everyone, and pretty effortless i.e. not too tight or short (great for dancing). We naturally had to look to Megara AKA Meg for ideas on how to style this classic silhouette.
Instead of the typical white, this dress shape can become fun and youthful in a nice, bright, jewel-toned purple. We also liked this one for its beaded trim. We added to the Grecian look with a drapey gold and turquoise necklace, and a simple gold wristlet clutch that gives you some freedom to dance OR handle any Centaurs who might come your way.
Meg is all about long hair and loose curls that she sort of pulls into a messy bun sometimes, so don’t forget the curl defining shampoo and serum to help add definition to your ringlets.
We picked out another jewel shade for nails that matches the turquoise of the necklace, and finished it all off with gladiator-inspired sandals like Megara’s, but of course with a prom-worthy heel.
